The first day of pick your own apples will be Friday, July 29. Zestar will be the first variety and it is excellent for all purposes. A great eating apple that has a nice sweet/tart balance and makes great applesauce and pies.
No appointment needed but always call and listen to the phone message, check our website, or our social media accounts before driving out to be sure we offer U-Pick on that day. We know for sure it will be plentiful the first few days but could get picked out later in the week and the season.
Pick your own hours are Monday - Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm. Please note that we do not allow anyone to enter the orchard after these hours. Monday-Thursday go the market to buy your containers and get instructions. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday go to the peachy colored building called the U-Pick Shed.
Prices are $16 for a peck bag and $30 for a half bushel bag. Each container admits four people into the orchard. Each additional person in the group pays $2 admission. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome in the orchard but we ask that you limit their time in the market or stay outside.
We are a walking only orchard although going to pick is not a very far walk at all. We recommend closed toe shoes, bug spray, and sunscreen. Bring your own wagon if you need a wagon please. We have very few.
